About Sort Works: Nuts & Order
Sort Works: Nuts & Order is a sorting puzzle built from colored nuts stacked on bolts. You can pick up the top nut and place it on a matching color or an empty bolt. The objective is to organize the nuts by color, but the pieces underneath cannot be reached until those above them have moved.
Look at the full stacks before choosing your first transfer. An empty bolt is temporary working space, so filling it without a follow-up move can make the arrangement harder to solve. Try to bring compatible colors together while keeping a route to the buried nuts. The mechanical theme makes the rules easy to read, while the order of your moves provides the planning challenge.
How to play
- Inspect the colors on top and underneath each stack.
- Select a bolt to lift its top nut.
- Move it onto a matching color or an empty bolt.
- Continue until the nuts are organized by color.
