About Cake Merge
Cake Merge asks you to arrange plates so that identical slices sit next to each other. Completed cakes disappear and free space, while linked plates add a placement constraint because they must be handled together.
Check the footprint of a linked pair before using the remaining gaps. A chain of completed cakes can recover room, but only if the next plate has a legal place to land.
